What this website collects
Only what is technically needed to deliver the pages. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no embedded third-party content and no external fonts. We keep no server logs ourselves.
Hosting and delivery
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data (time, requested page, browser and operating system, referring page) to deliver the pages and to protect the site against attacks and abuse. Your browser may also send Cloudflare a short error report if a connection fails (Network Error Logging). Legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be processed in the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR), and the agreement also contains the EU standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare deletes this data after a short period according to its own retention rules.
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if it concerns a contract or membership, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, unless commercial or tax law requires us to keep it (up to 6 or 10 years).
Our e-mail is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland) as our processor under a data processing agreement. Google may process data in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your browser sends your name (optional), e-mail address, topic and message directly to a Google Apps Script service in our Google Workspace account (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland, as our processor, see above). Google receives your IP address and technical request data in the process. The script does not store your message; it only forwards it as an e-mail to info@kinematik-studio.com, and from then on the rules for e-mail above apply. Nothing is sent until you click “Send message”.
We use the details only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if it concerns a contract or membership, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We need your e-mail address to reply; the name is optional. The form contains a hidden field and a time check to filter out spam bots; this uses no cookies and no tracking.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise them, e-mail us.
Right to object
Where we process data based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We then stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Complaints

Other information
You are not obliged to provide any personal data; without the technical data, however, the site cannot be delivered. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
